Frequence Inc. seeks Software Engineer in Mountain View, CA.

Work closely with Product team and Project managers to actualize the application requirements. Manage the offshore team and will be actively involved in Sprint planning and effort estimation for the team. Lead weekly team meetings to discuss any technical issues, new developments and provide any technical resolutions as needed. Architect and design technical solutions for the product and also influence product design decisions. Write technical design specification document based on the project features, collaborating with the team members and taking initiatives in solving technical problems. Need to be heavily hands on with the development effort involved in the evolution of the product. You will be responsible for full development life cycle of the project and also provide production support as needed. Core responsibilities include but are not limited to managing projects with deadlines, managing cross functional and dynamic teams and supervising the team members offering constructive feedback creating a highly motivated and efficient team. Based on the understanding of the project requirements, identify and suggest if we can implement new and cutting-edge technologies. Create POC's and demonstrate its benefits to product and management. Retaining skilled resources by instilling leadership in them and provide guidance to junior resources as and where needed which would help them to grow.


Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience. 5 years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming. 3 years of experience as a Technical Lead running local and/or offshore teams. 5 years of experience in building scalable web applications. 5 years of experience in server-side technologies and architecture. 5 years of experience with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, CodeIgniter, HTML, Git and experience with Apache web server. 3 years of experience in Agile Development using Scrum/Sprints.
